About the Doctor

dr. lineberry

Dr. Laura loves her job!  And after one visit you'll see how much she cares for her orthodontic patients! After 18 years, she feels very fortunate to be able to do what she loves most...create beautiful smiles!  She dreamed of being an orthodontist after going through her own orthodontic treatment at age 13 and made it happen!

Dr. Lineberry is an Idaho native. She graduated from Payette High School in 1987. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho and then moved to Omaha, Nebraska to complete her DDS degree at Creighton University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Lineberry earned her MS degree along with her specialty certificate in orthodontics from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. She attends meetings all over the country to keep current with the latest technology in orthodontics.  Upon completion of her orthodontic training in 1998, she immediately returned to her beautiful home state of Idaho and opened her own practice. Prior to building her Boise Orthodontic office in it's current location, her original orthodontic office was located on five mile and opened in the fall of 1998.  In the fall of 1999, she made the decision to open her Mountain Home Orthodontic office.  She enjoys her time spent in both orthodontic offices.

Dr. Lineberry is involved in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Southwest Idaho District Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.  She also is very intent on keeping up with all of the rapid changes in orthodontics and regularly travels to continuing education meetings to learn all about the latest and greatest advancements in orthodontic treatment.  She knows orthodontists all over the world and regularly collaborates with them to ensure that her patients receive the best orthodontic care possible!

Dr. Lineberry recently became the first orthodontist in Idaho to reach "Elite" status for Invisalign and a qualified provider for Invisalign Teen.  This accomplishment places her in an elite group to which only 5% orthodontists in North America belong.

Dr. Lineberry is a parent advocate of children with autism, as her youngest child is afflicted with this disorder. She enjoys treating children with special needs and has a lot of patience for all children!

Dr. Lineberry provides sponsorship to local organizations such as Ride For Joy (www.rideforjoy.org) which is a non-profit therapeutic riding program which brings joy and therapeutic benefits of horses to Treasure Valley children with special needs.  She also is always eager to help sponsor local school projects and sports teams!

Dr. Lineberry's hobbies include skiing, running, camping, fishing and spending time with her family.   When she's not busy in the orthodontic office, she can be found attending one of her son Seth's lacrosse games or her daughter Payton's tennis matches.  She loves being a mom and strives to maintain a health balance between work, play and family.  Her husband, David, also works at the office and helps with a lot of the practice management duties to ensure Dr.Laura can dedicate more time to patient care when in the office, and more time to family fun when out of the office.

Dr. Lineberry enjoys working with both children and adults equally, and receives satisfaction in building greater self-esteem one smile at a time! Whether you choose traditional braces or Invisalign for yourself or your child, we are confident you will be pleased with your new Dr. Laura Smile!
